Of the Editorial Board

Editorial Ethics

The Editorial Board of Confluence Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in academic publishing. These responsibilities are essential to ensure fairness, transparency, and scholarly integrity throughout the editorial and peer-review processes.

1. Publication Decisions

The Editorial Board conducts an initial screening of all submissions to assess their originality, scholarly relevance, and adherence to ethical standards. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit, without discrimination based on the author’s race, gender, institutional affiliation, or other personal characteristics. Final publication decisions are based on a rigorous peer-review process conducted by qualified subject-matter experts.

2. Objectivity and Fairness

All submissions are reviewed through a double-blind peer-review process to guarantee impartiality. Editorial decisions are made consistently and fairly, in alignment with the journal’s academic standards and commitment to intellectual honesty.

3. Timeliness in Review and Publication

Authors will receive an acknowledgment of receipt within three weeks of submission. The full peer-review process will not exceed three months. Once accepted, articles will be published within three months following the final editorial approval.

4. Copyright and Open Access Policy

All published articles are made freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. Authors retain full rights to their work while allowing non-commercial distribution, citation, and access, provided no modifications are made. The journal ensures proper author attribution and safeguards against unauthorized changes.

5. Handling of Ethical Misconduct

The journal enforces a zero-tolerance policy on plagiarism, falsification, or any form of research misconduct. All submissions are systematically screened using anti-plagiarism tools provided by the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST) in Morocco. Confirmed violations will result in formal retraction of the article and, if necessary, legal or institutional action.

6. Archiving and Data Preservation

To ensure long-term access and academic preservation, all published content is archived in the CNRST digital repository and on the Portal of Moroccan Scientific Journals (PRSM). This guarantees sustainable availability and compliance with international archiving standards.
